as organisers of the UKHMA
Terms and Conditions (Exhibitors and Sponsors)
the company, delegate, or person named on the booking form for whom the
Organiser has agreed to provide delegate facilities, exhibition space or
sponsorship facilities in accordance with these conditions.
"Company" shall mean
Maritime Intelligence Ltd (t/a Foreshore Events) of Maritime Centre,F5 Northney
, Hants PO11 0NH United Kingdom
trading as Foreshore Events.
"Organiser" shall mean the
organisers appointed by the UKHMA. The UKHMA has appointed the Company to be
Organiser for the Seminars in the calendar year 2015.
"Seminar" shall mean a
seminar or meeting of the UKHMA
"UKHMA" shall mean the
Harbour Masters' Association of the
, the Isle of Man and the
The following terms and
conditions apply to all Seminars in the calendar year 2015.
2.1 The charges for delegate
fees, exhibition space or sponsorship facilities shall be set out in a rate
card published by the Organiser prior to the event. Refreshments, beverages and
lunch shall not be included in the standard charge unless specifically shown on
the rate card.
2.2 All charges are liable
to VAT at the prevailing
2.3 The Organiser reserves
the right to alter the charges from those published.
3.1 No booking will be
deemed as accepted by the Organiser unless and until confirmed online or in writing by
the Client and payment has been received in full. A VAT invoice and
exhibitor/sponsor information sheet will be sent to acknowledge the booking.
The invoice will be deemed to be received by the Client within 48 hours after
the date on which the invoice is posted.
3.2 The Organiser reserves
the right to make changes to the Seminar programme or exhibition or sponsorship
facility, or postpone, cancel or discontinue the event, without prior notice
to the Client. Under these circumstances, the Organiser will make reasonable
effort to inform the Client at the earliest opportunity. In the event of a
cancellation of the Seminar by the Organiser for whatever reason, the liability
of the Company shall be for the return of the booking fee only. However, if the
event is postponed for reasons beyond the direct control of the Organiser, this
booking may be transferred to a revised date of the Seminar and all the terms
and conditions herein shall apply to any such transferred booking.
3.3 The Organiser reserves
the right to refuse or restrict anyone from attending the Seminar.
3.4 If a booking for the
Seminar is made by telephone, the Organiser will confirm the booking only after
receiving a booking form that is authorised for payment.
4.1 Cancellation of a
booking will only be accepted by the Organiser if made in writing.
4.2 All cancellations are
subject to a minimum 10% administration charge. Additionally, refunds or credit
notes against invoices will be issued only subject to the following notice
being given in writing by the Client to the Organiser:
>30 days before the day of the Seminar
90%* refund of invoice value
>14 and <31 days before the day of the Seminar
60%* refund of invoice value
>7 and <15 days before the day of the Seminar
40%* refund of invoice value
7 days or less before the day of the Seminar
to attend on the day of the event for whatever reason
inclusive of 10% administration charge.

4.3 Transfers of bookings
to alternative or substitute Clients will be at the Organiser's discretion
Exhibitors are advised to
provide insurance for their displays to a minimum of third-party liability cover.
Additional theft/damage insurance is recommended.
The liability of the
Organiser and the UKHMA for any loss or damage resulting from the booking shall
in no event exceed the total fee paid by the delegate, exhibitor or sponsor.
Any dispute concerning the provision of services and/or the contract under
which the services are provided is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the
English courts and will be governed by English Law.
